Gerry Bracewell celebrated her 101st birthday party on July 8th 2023 at Age Care Cariboo Place

Gerry wrote her memoirs, Gerry, Get Your Gun at the age of 93 about her life as the first female hunt guide and guide outfitter in British Columbia, working a cattle ranch and raising her four sons in the wilderness.
Gerry Bracewell: Guide Outfitter, Pioneer, Matriarch by Charlie Botting was released to celebrate Gerry's 100th birthday last year on July 11th 2022. It builds on Gerry's memoirs, sharing more stories about Gerry's life as well as what inspired her to live this life and the female hunt guides she has inspired.
These books are just one more way of sharing Gerry's story and inspiring more women to get involved in hunting and guiding.
